Just A Quick Op-Ed: My Own Gut Feeling

Posted by bosskitty on July 12, 2007

Fears Exploited – Expect A Distraction

Watching the Main Scream Media news – I see the script unfolding.  King George is building up to the inevitable crisis that will allow him to trump the remainder of America’s Constitution.  Notice the headlines are focusing on AlQaeda’s new strength.  All the ‘New Developments’  are designed to distract America’s dissatisfaction and anger – allowing Bush to ‘stay the course’ and suspend coming elections.  Bush’s Armageddon Envy is taking us with him to destruction.

Just watch!  Expect a major distraction coming soon!  Bush will arrange for a ‘terrorist’ scare or attack to justify his final slide into dictatorship. Please prove my fears wrong …

Just the fact that we all know it’s coming makes the monkey’s chances for success far less likely.

What I’m worried about is fragmentation. Ahnold might see this as an opportunity to take California all the way out of the US, and I don’t think he could be stopped if he did.

Texas might be right behind California

Bosskitty, your assessment of the dangers just ahead is dead-on.

The Executive has seized unprecedented power, the Legislative has capitualted to it, the Judicial supports it, the Fourth Estate champions it.
And our awareness of all this hasn’t stopped anything.

If I may, (and I hope I’m not overstepping, here) I’d like to remind you of one of the fundamental rules of the Universe: What you fear, you manifest. George may dream of things like this, but we must put it out of our minds and not dwell on it. Rather we must stand firm, ready for action in the defense of our constitution. We will win the battle with love of country, not with hate or fear of Bush.
    More Love, No Fear

How metaphysical of you, however, a concept lost on Bush

I think the gut fear that many of us have about Bush is his National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive that Bush signed on May 9, 2007.

The part of the directive that bothers me and I expect Bush to use is:

2(b) “Catastrophic Emergency” means any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions; and

    6) The President shall lead the activities of the Federal Government for ensuring constitutional government. In order to advise and assist the President in that function, the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counter terrorism (APHS/CT) is hereby designated as the National Continuity Coordinator. The National Continuity Coordinator, in coordination with the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs (APNSA), without exercising directive authority, shall coordinate the development and implementation of continuity policy for executive departments and agencies. The Continuity Policy Coordination Committee (CPCC), chaired by a Senior Director from the Homeland Security Council staff, designated by the National Continuity Coordinator, shall be the main day-to-day forum for such policy coordination.

Bush seems to be setting us up for something. At a time when all of us are angry, concerned and trying to correct a mess, Bush is calm and complacent. Albeit, he is void of feelings and a bit slow on the uptake, but I feel he and Cheney are up to something.

JollyRoger, Success is measured in the eye of the beholder, which is usually the winner … when there are no winners, success is in the mind of the King of Deception. I’ll secede with AhNold!

Mirth, So true, think it’s time to take awareness to the bank and voter’s booth. At my age, the last thing I expected to become is Radical! Seems the older I get Radical comes easier. Let’s recruit some AARP old fart hippie Radicals – brains and experience trump hormone driven, weenie waggin’, self-righteous morons every time. LOL

Whosplayin, I am grateful to learn you have ‘next level’ awareness. I’ve spent years studying metaphysical manifestation, you are so right. Thoughts have the power to manifest reality. I’ve been rusty lately, my thought process has been distracted by earthly events. Thank you for reminding me to control my thought process.
