Taking Texas And The Nation Back

Bush Cheney And Rove Need Some Jail Time

Posted by nytexan on April 12, 2007

Missing e-mail and RNC accounts, what else can this administration do to destroy whatever honesty and integrity our country has left?  Bush, Cheney and Rove knew from the very beginning that they were going to scam and deceive us. Remember awhile back Bush saying that he doesn’t use e-mail because they can get subpoenaed. I guess he was openly telling us his plan of deception. Probably the only truthful thing he’s uttered.

The RNC says that their computers automatically delete e-mail every 30 days. How convenient. Now a forensic expert has to retrieve the e-mails. So, here we sit 6 years into the most corrupt and worst administration in our countries history, chasing our tail just to see what they’ve been doing.   Had the 108th and 109th Congress done their job with over site of the Executive branch, maybe the 110th Congress wouldn’t be passing themselves in the hall going from one hearing to another.  Thank you 110th Congress.

On the Senate floor, Mr. Leahy was skeptical that the e-mails are indeed missing. “You can’t erase e-mails, not today,” he said. “They’ve gone through too many servers.”

Of the 1,000 White House officials who are political appointees, 22 — including Karl Rove, the chief political strategist — have Republican National Committee accounts that are supposed to be used only for campaign-related work. But recent revelations that some officials have used those accounts for Bush administration business, including discussions of a plan to dismiss United States attorneys, has prompted a Congressional investigation.

With so much that needs to be done to fix all of the Bush screw ups both in and out of our country, I haven’t been much for impeachment. However, today I feel Nancy Pelosi should put impeachment back on the table.  We need to impeach both Bush and Cheney and prosecute Rove on Federal charges, and I am sure there are a boat load of charges.  Ken Mehlman and the RNC employees also need to held accountable.

John Dean was correct in saying that this White House is worse than Watergate. Pardoning Nixon may have been the right thing to do at the time so the country could heal. No pardons for anyone this time. Today the most healing thing for me would be to see Bush, Cheney and Rove in prison. Then the world could heal.

Don’t forget to take a look at Diane Feinstein and her husband. They look pretty bad from the most recent news, but then, we haven’t heard her side yet, so I will wait till all evidence is heard.

Yes, we do need to hear Diane Feinstein’s side of the story. However, I am all for cleaning up corruption in politics on all levels no matter what party a politician is from. I will post on her as things develop.
