I don't know if it would have effected his hearings but everyone should have been told. I really hope Ginsburg and Beyer hold on until after the elections. Personally I think there should be rules where the chief is picked by seniority and SCOTUS experience. That slot should not be given to a new nominee. I'm surprised that his medical history was not revealed to Congress or the public before or during his confirmation.The White House put a statement today that they were aware of hid 1993 seizures. No reason to keep it secret. It really would not have effect his position as Chief Justice, unless the doctors thinks its an issue.
